Find the Farm
Behind Your Food
AlimentaMapa connects you directly with farms, smallholders, and local markets — cutting out the layers of middlemen that inflate prices for buyers and slash earnings for farmers. Pay less for fresher produce. Farmers earn more per sale. Everyone wins except the supermarket.
Three steps to fresher food
No middlemen, no mystery. Just a direct line from field to your door.

Connect directly
Reach out to the grower and buy straight from the source — no apps, no fees, no algorithms between you and your food.
Local food shouldn't be hard to find
Most small farms have no easy way to reach buyers beyond their immediate neighbours. AlimentaMapa changes that — it's a structured marketplace that gives farmers better earnings and buyers fairer prices than conventional retail, with a supply chain you can actually trace.
-
Fresher food Less transport, less storage — what you eat was harvested days ago, not months.
-
Support real farmers Every purchase through AlimentaMapa goes directly to the person who grew it.
-
Lower your footprint Local supply chains are shorter, cleaner, and more resilient than global ones.
-
Free to browse Finding farms and exploring listings is completely free. A small platform fee applies at purchase — keeping the lights on while keeping earnings with the farmer.
of food in global supply chains is lost or wasted before it reaches a plate. Buying local cuts that number dramatically.
Where your €1 goes — supermarket vs. AlimentaMapa
Supermarket figures are approximate industry averages. By shortening the supply chain, AlimentaMapa means farmers earn ~75¢ per euro — nearly 4× what they'd receive through a supermarket — while buyers pay closer to the true cost of production.

Some farms deliver their produce directly to your door — either on a regular schedule or on-demand. Check each farm's profile for their delivery radius and days.
Visit the farm directly to collect your order. Many farms offer pick-up on harvest days — a great way to see where your food actually comes from.
Some farms on AlimentaMapa offer rural accommodation — stay overnight, experience farm life, and eat what's growing around you. We include these because they deepen the connection between people and land.
Harvest days, open farm weekends, workshops, markets. Farms can post upcoming events so you can visit at the right time of year and experience the seasons firsthand.
Search for any type of produce — vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, honey, olive oil, wine, and more. If a farm grows it, you can filter for it. Great for finding exactly what you need without browsing every listing.
Set a radius from your location — 5 km, 20 km, 50 km — and see only the farms within it. Useful for finding what's genuinely local to you rather than just sorting by name.
